Super AS-One, kicks the electrons out of the competition.

Super AS-One is an analog interconnect celebrating performance and retro styling. Super AS-One is the 8th generation of  AS-One product as first introduced at the 1986 summer CES held in Chicago.  Super AS-One is 100% hand assembled and made to order. The Aural Symphonics cryogenic infusion process is applied to the two 12 gauge, all copper conductors and, connectors are processed for 72 hours  in a deep nitrogen soak at a very cold -310 degrees.

One of the design priorities was to build an interface that would exhibit minimal inductance and minimal capacitance as well as very low resistance. Super AS-One design achieves minimal audible signature and minimal electrical effect on the audio waveform. This cable is capable of stable and linear frequency response over long cable lengths and, in applications of  vacuum tube and solid state electronics. Linear frequency response is achieved by the Super AS-One's vanishing low measured values of both inductance and capacitance.

There is no overall outer shield only a single large 12 gauge conductor connected from connector to connector completes the simple ground circuit. There is absolutely no audible hum as a result of deleting the shield and moving Super AS-One close to large power supplies as found in amplifiers doesn't force or induce audible hum into the cable. The cable shield has been eliminated, removed from the audio signal path. This unique technique minimizes audible capacitive induced blurring, veiling, timing errors.  The inner materials are completely free of crush polypropylenes allowing minimal static electricity effects on the conductors. The conductors are minimally insulated and are fundamentally in free air. End terminations are 4% silver soldered.

Aural Symphonics introduced the AS-One interconnect at the 1986 summer CES held in Chicago at the Blackstone Hotel. The original AS-One product is remarkably still in use in today by many around the globe. The 2006 Super AS-One pays tribute to the original with retro styling of an all white outer jacket and all gold connectors. Don't be fooled by the modest price of Super AS-One, just like the original back in 1986, it kicks the electrons out of the overpriced competition. This is an excellent product for multi-channel audio. An all black outer jacket replaces the white jacket when specified for theater systems.
